WWE 2K15 NXT Mode Confirmed

Since 2K has not revealed much information about WWE 2K15, every piece of news is major, but this actually is major!

WE all know by now that My Career mode is essentialy NBA’s My Career mode but in WWE and that it is exclusive for PS4 and Xbox One. So to make sure Last Gen users do not feel left out, there is now an exclusive mode for them, called Who Got NXT.

The Who Got NXT mode is essentially Showcase/ 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode/ Attitude Era mode, but this time with NXT as you get to play as some of the top matches of NXT.

In turn there are 5 different Superstars to play with, whom all have 4 matches each. These 5 superstars are: Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Rusev, Corey Graves & Bo Dallas. Before you complete a superstars mode, you cannot use that superstar at all. Each superstar has a different main goal objective. Sami Zayn’s is too prove that he is a talented performer, Adrian Neville’s is to win the NXT Championship, Resuv’s is to crush his opponents, Corey Grave’s is to define who he is and Bo Dallas’ is too hold onto the NXT Championship at any cost.

The only way to go on to the next match is too complete the main objective. Throughout the matches there will be 3 objectives, where two will be optional and the third one is compulsory. It is something easy like win by pinfall etc. Then the other objectives are like take the turnbuckle pad off with Bo Dallas, or complete the through ring post DDT with Sami Zayn etc.

The best part of completeing these optional objectives are the unlocks, these unlocks are: The NXT Arena, The NXT Arrival Arena, NXT Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship and NXT Women’s Championship.

There is no specific order in which Superstar you play as first, so you could do all of Rusev’s matches then Zayn’s etc. But you must complete all the 4 matches in order. At this time the only confirmed match is Neville V Dallas (2) for the NXT Championship and Zayn V Cesaro.

There will be no video package before the match setting up the match, but there will be specific commentary detailing why the match is taking place etc.

Then when you are finished with all those there is Proving Guard which is essentially it is the next Defeat The Streak mode, where instead of trying to Defeat Undertaker’s Streak, You try to defeat the face of the company John Cena as an NXT Superstar to become a bigger part of the WWE.

Just like in Defeat the Streak John Cena is controlled by A.I and a million times harder to defeat than a normal A.I opponent. Before the match starts John Cena cuts a promo saying that he is the Face of WWE blah blah blah then he challenges someone to face him, where you come out.

You have 5 superstars to pick to verse Cena: Adrian Neville, Rusev, Corey Graves, Sami Zayn or Bo Dallas. BUT once you beat John Cena with all 5 Superstars you will be able to play the mode with anyone on the roster.

The match is a 1v1, 30 Minute Timed match. (It will be a lot harder now that you can get DQ’d) and there will be specific commentary for this mode, and just like in Defeat The Streak mode you get a score at the end of your match and if you beat Cena you can upload the score online, and if you make Cena tap out you get a lot more points.

If you have a look at this screenshot you can see that for Last Gen there is the old referee that has been in the last couple of games, while Current Gen has a new Black Haired referee.

If that was not enough for you. Then Be glad as there has been a Current Gen gameplay trailer featuring: Cesaro, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Randy Orton and Batista. The gameplay also confirmed Batista bomb to Reverse RKO which they performed at Wrestlemania XXX.

Far Cry 4: Season Pass Details

If you are looking forward to Ubisoft’s Far Cry 4 then you will be happy to know that there is officially going to be a Season Pass including 5 DLC events for $29.99 USD.

The DLC will be releasing throughout the games life cycle with one of the DLC missions releasing on launch day. From buying the Season pass you will save 20% off buying each pack separately.

It is surprising that the standard PvP multiplayer mode is DLC, where it was part of the base game of Far Cry 3.

Here is all the DLC:

The Syringe

“Available launch day exclusively for Season Pass holders, players must keep a rare and potent recipe from falling into the hands of Pagan Min’s forces. Playable in single-player and co-op, players will need to ensure that he does not use its devastating effects on the rebel forces.”

Escape from Durgesh Prison

“Ajay and Hurk have been rounded up and tortured in Yuma’s prison. On your own or with a friend, escape and survive the hostile lands of Pagan Min’s Kyrat.”

Hurk Deluxe Pack

“Five missions, including Yak Farm, Blood Ruby and the Hurk’s Redemption missions are available, along with an arsenal of new weapons including “The Impaler” Hurk’s harpoon gun.”

“Team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path in this PvP mode and control a series of neutral locations across Kyrat’s countryside to protect them from being overrun by your opponents.”

Valley of the Yetis

“Ajay’s helicopter has crashed on an unforgiving Himalayan ridge. Explore the frozen landscape and find tools to upgrade your camp and protect it from a dangerous cult when night falls. With single-player and co-op options, players will not be alone, but in the darkest caves players will have more to fear than the cult as the yetis await their prey…”

WWE 2K15: My Career Information

There have been Hands on Previews with My Career of WWE 2K15, here’s what we learned:

There are random events that happen depending weather or not your are Hell or Face. If you are Face an example is Brock Lesnar randomly coming out and F5’ing you starting a Fued. Similar to what he did to John Cena at the Raw after Mania 28. When Brock Lesnar entered Paul Heyman was behind Brock shouting about how good Brock is.

Another example is after one of your matches Daniel Bryan comes out and you have the face option to shake his hand or the heel option to low blow him.

In between matches you can change the look of your superstar, train with other superstars to learn new moves etc.

Then they versed Bo Dallas in a practice match were Bill DeMott is shouting things at you and also setting you objectives for the match. At the end of the match you get a 4 star rating, and the higher the rank the more in game currency you will earn.

With the Virtual Currency you can buy things like customization for your superstar, training with other superstars to learn there moves, taunts etc, skills and abilities, or a mange. (you can also use a Diva as your manager).

To get a higher rating at the end of the match its not if you dominate it’s if the match is very close with a lot of near pitfalls etc.

There is a new submissions system but it’s not that different. It’s just a re skinned Breaking Point system.

Skip to a while in the Career Mode, Vicki Guerrero comes out on SmackDown and informs you that Daniel Bryan has been undefeated for 6 months and she thinks you are the one to beat him at the next pay per view.

People who played it could tell a major difference if your stats are bad verse if your stats are really good.

Leading up to the match with Daniel Bryan different things happen each week, he might come up after your match, or there is even a Contract Signing.

Finally after the match with Bryan he tweeted praising the match which helped increase your twitter followers.

Some weeks you have choices ti what matches you want to compete in. One option was to face Chris Jericho in a match on SmackDown that does not air on T.V but you gain a lot more currency from it. Or face Brock Lesnar in the main event, that does not give you much Currency but gives you a lot of exposure.

WWE 2K15 launched on PS4 and Xbox One on November 20th and October 30th on PS3 and Xbox 360, but My Career mode is only available on PS4 and Xbox One.

WWE 2K15: Special Edition, Carrer Mode & Screenshot

Every day I always check for the latest WWE 2K15 info, so when I saw heaps of Info i flipped out. We learned 3 Big updates to the game today, and August is the big month for all the WWE 2k15 reveals.

Special Edition:

We learned what the special edition will be! This year’s special edition is called the Hulkamania edition that will only be available on PS4 & Xbox One

This years special Edition Includes a copy of WWE 2K15 with a special hulk Hogan cover.

An exclusive photo of Hulk Hogan hand signed!

A piece of ring canvas from the Raw which he returned!

Two playable versins of Hulk Hogan: New World Order Hulk Hogan & Current 2014Hulk.

Two playable versions of Sting: Surfer Sting & The Crow Sting.

This all costs $199 USD and approx $120 USD

Career Mode:

WE learned what this years career mode will be. Last years career mode was the 30 years of Wrestle mania and I really enjoyed it. But this year is called Showcase. And what does it showcase? It is Showcasing the WWE’s best rivalries! So far we know of two Rivalries that will be included and that is The Rock Vs Stone Cold & Undertaker Vs Kane.

But we also learned a new single player game mode! And that is MY CAREER! Finally! WWE is getting the game mode we all want. They described it as the My Career from the NBA games except adapted to fit the WWE Universe. If you are not familiar with My Career it is where you will Create A Superstar then Start from the bottom maybe the indies or NXT then you have to work your way up to the top to be the champion. I’m not sure how this will completely work as in NBA you try out to Join the NBA then you get drafted, but you cant really get drafted to WWE. But the sad information about My Career is that it is only available on PS4 & Xbox One.

The final piece of information we got today is a screenshot! Finally!

2014-08-05 07_57_30-BuM1vYRCUAAee_J.jpg_large (1024×576)

2k Games got the company that got the graphics in NBA 2K14 to work on WWE 2K15. As a result this year is the first year a WWE game uses Motion Capture and it goes all out, as we are getting 50 days worth of Motion Capture with 5 times more animations! But this is all only On PS4 and Xbox One.

What do you guys think of the previous games commentary! I know exactly what you are thinking it’s terrible! That’s why 2K completely changed commentary as well giving us over 30 hours of commentary! And if that’s not good enough then this will be as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler finally recorded there lines together!

Be tuned in to the day before Sumerslam, August 16th as that is the day we will get our fall Roster Reveal and probably our first gameplay!

2014-08-05 20_54_14-BtGnPGgCQAA4xc-.png_large (1024×489)

So what do you guys think about WWE 2k15 so far! I really hoped that this year is where they do the massive leap and make the game so much better and I’m so happy as it seems that this is where they make that leap!

WWE 2K15 Cover Revealed!

During the 30/06/2014 edition of Raw, well in the first segment WWE revealed the cover of the next 2K game, and well this year the man on the cover is John Cena.

I am not a big fan of John Cena but I have to say that I actually like this cover a lot.

A big thing that I realized is that they are not using the normal WWE ‘scratch’ logo but this time they are using the WWE Network logo. To me it seems like this means they will eventually switch the logo completely to the Network logo.

Another thing is that they showed the Playstation 4 version of the game, which is a but surprising as they always promoted the Xbox version, does this mean WWE has a sort of deal with Sony?

There is no gameplay of the game as of the making of this post, but once there is a gameplay trailer I will be writing another post straight away!

Anyways guys tell me what you think of this cover, and what year was your favourite cover? My favourite cover was probably the WWE’13 cover with CM Punk. But this is up there, I mean I like this a lot.

inFAMOUS First Light Release Date Leaked

2 Weeks ago at E3 Sucker Punch showed off there new Infamous: Second Son DLC called Infamous: First Light. In the DLC we don’t play as the Second Son protagonist Delsin Rowe but instead we get to play as the side character Abigail ‘Fetch’ Walker.

The last time Sucker Punch release a DLC it was a standalone expansion for Infamous 2 called Festive Of Blood and released to mediocre reviews. Sucker Punch is heading the same way with this DLC as this is also a standalone DLC.

As you can see from this photo A user went on the Playstation store and caught the release date. This leaked date is scheduled for release on August 24, 2014 exclusively on Playstation 4. This date seems very plausible as Sucker Punch said it would be releasing Quarter 3 this year (July-September). Additionally this date is on a Tuesday which is when the Playstation Store always updates its catalogue.

Obviously the photo is real but we are not positive weather they will change this date or not, in my opinion I don’t think they will change this date. Sony has not responded to this at the time of writing thins, so we cannot be %100 sure about anything.

What we do know is that this DLC is able for pre-order digitally now and will be releasing for the U.S price of $14.99. Infamous: Second Son is one of my favourite games of this year so far, and It is a must have for any PS4 owner in my opinion, and if you are on the fence about buying Second Son then checking out the DLC is a perfect bet.

If this date is true, then come back here to see my review of it around release date, if this date is not true then come back as I will either edit this article or write a new article about that.
