Payday 2: Arriving Too PS4 & Xbox One

Developer 505 games, who developed Payday: The Heist and the sequel Payday 2 just recently announced that it will be bringing Payday 2 over to the next gen.

The game will be called Payday 2: Crimewave Edition and will include enhacned featurs and bonus content, but we do not know what all of it yet. My guess is they are just bringing all the previous DLC over with maybe a new DLC pack as well.

WE do not a price and we do not know weather it is just a port or a full re master.

Payday 2 was previously released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS4.

We do not have a release date but you can expect it this fall or sooner on the PSN store and the Xbox marketplace.

E3 2014 My Top 10 Games

E3 2014 has concluded and may I say I loved it. It was an amazing E3 full of new game announcment plus more gameplay.

We saw so many games throughout all 4 conferences but I have picked my top 10 favourite games shown off this year, some were already announced while some where just announced.

Number 10:

Untitled Criterion Games Project
As soon as I saw the start of the trailer and it said Criterion Games i thought of Need for Speed but then I saw a helicopter, a jet-ski, a quad-bike, a boat, a wingsuit, an off road bugy, and a parachute and much more I thought now this is a game im going to play… and i sure am

Number 9:

The Division

This was announced last year and as soon as I saw it i wanted more, and now i have more and I love it. I love this trailer like most ubisoft games ubisoft can make awesome trailers. This sells the game so well and then them explaining everything after it was the tip of the iceberg. I really have nothing to say just watch it for yourself

Number 8:

Dead Island 2

This trailer shows off the funny side of Dead Island, it is completely different from the first Dead Island trailer how that was sad and moody but this lightens the mood with a halarious and awesome trailer plus Troy Baker is in it! Now im not sure if the game will be good, but the trailer makes me want to play it!

Number 7:

The Order 1886

When I saw the Order at E3 last year I had no idea what it is about, and after seeing the game again this year i can tell you… I still have no idea. I mean are those things werewolves or zomibes? or both!?

Number 6:

Far Cry 4

When Far Cry 4 was announced I was skeptical thinking it will be a clone of Far Cry 3 and I still king of think that but this trailer brings light on that, I saw this trailer and oh my the game looks georugeous and I hope that the game is different and this trailer really makes it seem like it will be.

Number 5:

Batman: Arkham Knight

Arkham is one of my favourite series and finally seeing gameplay brings light to the series after the first game. We finally see the batmobile in action and man is it pretty. and dangerous

Number 4:

Rainbow Six: Siege

It’s been 6 long years for a rainbow game and well patriots was cancelled and with good will. Because this game was born, we only saw multiplayer gameplay but thats all I need to see for it to sell me. THe whole tactical approach and make your own path is amazing.

Number 3:

Battlefield: Hardline

There was so much gameplay for this game, with so many trailers and live streams happening and I heard you say ‘I WANT TO PLAY!’ well you fucking can! the beta is out right now for this awesome game that plans to reinvent the battlefield series, I cannot wait to get my hand on this.

Number 2:

Assassin’s Creed: Unity

Assassin’s Creed is my second favourite franchise and man does this game look amazing to anti up the series! I said that ubisoft makes amazing trailers and that started with the Assassin’s Creed series and well this is one of the best trailer made it sets the tone for the game and gets me pumped out of my shoes, I NEED THIS GAME! Every time I watch the trailer it takes me back to the old memories of all the times i played AC and man this brings me home!

Honorable Mention:

Infamous: First Light

As soon as I clocked Infamous: Second Son I wanted more and I wanted the DLC and well, now I get that! I get to play as fucking fetch now, and man does it look great!

Number 1:

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

As soon as I saw Drake I screamed like a girl this is my favourite franchise and sfter seeing the trailer I have more questions then answers! Seriously does he die!? wtf? What happened? why is he on the ground knocked out? why has he been out of the game ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH I NEED IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!

E3 2014 All Press Conferences Times And Details

The biggest gaming convention is right around the corner, so you need to know all the details possible! That’s why I made this post, because I have your back. Here I will list all the conference times and all the details that we have right now. I will probably right a post like this 1 week before E3 with more information, and to just remind you. The E3 conferences will be hosted on June 9th while the Show Floor will be on June 10th – June 12th. YOu can watch the confrence live streams on Twitch, IGN, Spike or each individual conferences on their respected companies websites.

If you are not familiar with E3 then what have you been doing with tour life!? E3 is only the biggest gaming conference all year. E3 is held in June every year, and it is where majority of games are announced. There are 4 conferences each year, there is the Microsoft conference, the EA conference, the Ubisoft conference and the Sony conference. At these conferences they announced there newest games and show game-play/trailers of those games. They also show off new hardware sometimes there as well. Basically if one of those companies are working an a massive project, they show it off at E3. General public is not permitted into these conferences, the only people who go there are journalists, youtubers, reviewers etc. The times of these conferences always range some times it is shorter and most times it is longer but the average time is 90 minutes.

But dont worry, if you live in L.A and you want to play games early you can. As through June 10th – June 12 general public can come in onto the show floor where you play demoed games, most games are available to play there. But it is too late too back now unfortunately.

Microsoft will kick of E3 at: June 9th 9:30 am PST and June 10th 2.30 AM AEST.

Major Nelson recently wrote that the Microsoft conference will be called Xbox: Game On.  Microsoft is promising

“everything from in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced games coming in 2014 and beyond.”

Nelson also said that he has plans for ‘fan centric events. We have no clue what he means by that, but expect something. Nelson later said that Microsoft has exceed their 90 minute time limit and they have to now inclue only the top planned events for the show.

Next up is EA, their times are: June 9th 12pm PST and June 10th 5 AM AEST

EA has given not much details at all. All we know is that there will be 6 games announced at their conference. 1 one those new games is running on the Frostbite Engine. and new gameplays from previously announced games. 6 new games, seriously!? that’s awesome and that’s good enough for me so far.

Ubisoftnext with there conference at: June 9th 3 PM PST and June 10th 8 AM EAST

Again Ubisoft stays super-quiet about their conference, but we will defiantly be seeing Assassin’s Creed: Unity gameplay and some new game announcements. Just like every year. Even though there is no details I think Ubisoft’s conference will be great just like most years.

Playstation logo

And finally Sony ends the night at: June 9th 6 PM PST and June 10th 11 am AEST

John Koller an executive at Sony stated

“there’s a huge and significant amount of games coming this year to the PlayStation 4. We’ll be showing a lot of those and it is going to be an exciting moment for many people. I can officially confirm that what is coming next is really spectacular … games like Destiny, which is the game from Bungie that is really going to be a show piece as to what makes the PlayStation 4 so special.

I think there is a lot to expect from Sony like Uncharted gameplay, and teasers for game like God of War and a release date and gameplay for The Order 1886. As well as new unannounced games. Sony recently bought a whole bunch of domain names, so we will probably see some of those this year.

Nintendo’s conference is held: June 10th 9 AM PST or June 11th or June 11th 2 AM AEST

You could call Nintendo’s a ‘bonus’ conference.

Nintendo will be holding a digital only smaller and shorter digita conference, to show off new gameplay for all there hyped up sequels like Mari Kart, and Super Smash. They will also be holding a competition during the show floor for Super Smash Bros. They are gathering the best players from the world and they will battle it out.

Now to round up all the dates:

Microsoft: June 9th 9:30 am PST and June 10th 2.30 AM AEST.

EA: June 9th 12pm PST and June 10th 5 AM AEST

Ubisoft:  June 9th 3 PM PST and June 10th 8 AM EAST

Sony:  June 9th 6 PM PST and June 10th 11 am AEST

Nintendo: June 10th 9 AM PST or June 11th or June 11th 2 AM AEST

EA Shutting Down many Online Games June 30th

Do you like too play older EA games? If the answer is yes then I’m afraid iv’e got some bad news.

It was romoured for a while that some Origin games would shut down but it only became ofical now. EA keeps talking about how they want to ‘relaunch’ Origin and it seems the first step of this is Taking Old games offline.

EA took to there official website to write this:

“The decisions to retire older EA games are never easy.  The development teams and operational staff pour their hearts into these games almost as much as the customers playing them and it is hard to see one retired.  But as games get replaced with newer titles, the number of players still enjoying the older games dwindles to a level — typically fewer than 1% of all peak online players across all EA titles — where it’s no longer feasible to continue the behind-the-scenes work involved with keeping these games up and running. We would rather our hard-working engineering and IT staff focus on keeping a positive experience for the other 99% of customers playing our more popular games.  We hope you have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the games and we appreciate your ongoing patronage.”

The biggest games to go offline are: Bulletstorm, Crysis, Crysis 2, Crysis Warhead, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Battlefield 2, Battlefield: Vietnam and most Command & Conquer games.

The full list of affected games is here:

No Need For Speed Game Releasing This Year

Since nearly the start of the 6th biggest gaming franchise in history (Need for Speed) EA have been releasing instalments every year, but that is not the case this year.

Ghost Games announced this shocking news earlier today in its quarterly earnings call.

After this announcement IGN spoke too the Creative Director: Marcus Nilsson who said “We’ve decided to take the time to build the game we really want to build in the next fiscal year. Looking at where the racing market now is, and looking at the Need for Speed brand, we see a pretty clear strategy of what we need to achieve. And to achieve that, we need time.”

Nillson emphasised the point that the studio needs time to create a great game, and he also said that in 2015 Need for Speed will be ‘Dramatically Different.”

There are a few reasons going through my head for the delay. Number 1 is that at the start of the year we heard the Criterion Games actually left EA studious, so maybe they were working on the game and then just left, so obviously Ghost games would need a lot more time.

or number 2: Maybe with the disappointing Need for Speed movie they need too space the two items a part so it doesn’t affect sales numbers, and it realises to actually sell a lot of games it needs to step up the game, and the only way too do that is to delay it.

So do you guys so the delay as a bad thing or a good thing? Do you think the brand needs a ‘reboot’ and more time to develop. Or where you excited for this years instalment? I really loved Rivals so i’m pretty sad that I wont get a new game this year, but I’m still excited because I know that next years game is going to be awesome. And am I the only one who really liked the movie? Well either way know that there is no NFS this year I have even more time to get my Rivals platinum trophy

Gotham (Batman’s New T.V Show) First Trailer!

Have you heard about the new T.V show Gotham?

Well if you haven’t heard about it then here’s the deal: the main character of this show is  Commissioner Gordon, but when he is young and when he is only a Detective. We also see other characters before we know who they are and we see them while they are still young. while we don’t know any of the characters ages, the actor who plays ‘Bruce Wayne’ is aged 13 so I think that is a rough estimate as too how old the characters are. The T.V show also takes place during the event of Bruce’s parents murder.

Now all the official confirmed characters are: Detective  Gordon, Bruce Wayne, Selena Kyle (Cat woman), Poison Ivy, Penguin, Riddler, Alfred and Harvey Bullock (Detective Gordan’s Mentor/Partner. Now remember that all these characters are young and it takes place before the characters we know them as.

You can watch the trailer here
